Season III – Off to a Flying Start

BAY&BLOOR, TORONTO

Already this young season has seen plenty of action. There have been blow-outs, shut-outs, but only one time-out. (This was due to a net flying off the rink courtesy of a wicked slap shot by the LA Kings right winger.)

Teams that have been seen skating around the IFC rink include: Atlanta, Chicago, Victoria, Nashville, Detroit, Boston, LA, Toronto, Hartford, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Colorado, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Calgary, and Ottawa.

Keep playing. And keep reading for stories and updates.

Ottawa also had a good exhibition game against LA.

Montreal also had a very eventful exhibition game against LA – beating them 5-0. Doug Gilmour had 5 goals that game and was named all 3 stars. He later watched Ottawa destroy the Kings 10-1 where Spezza was named all 3 stras.

    Poor LA.

I wonder if there’s some kind of writer’s strike in Hollywood which is preventing them from having a story book season.
